Who does what

An adult does every step: holding the tooth, coloring it, labeling the vial, and sprinkling the gold dust. Children can watch from a safe distance.

Small parts and choking

The kit contains small parts (cork, teeth, dust packet, marker cap, tweezers). Keep the kit away from children under 3. Keep every small part out of reach until you are done, and put everything back in the box.

Glass

The vial is glass. Store it on a stable shelf out of reach of young children. Do not use a cracked or chipped vial. If it breaks, pick up the pieces with care, and dispose of them safely.

The marker

• For decorative use only. Use as directed on the label.
• Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on skin.
• Work in a well-ventilated area and keep the cap on when not in use.
• Keep away from fabric and surfaces you want to protect.

The gold dust

• Not edible. Do not eat it, do not inhale it, and keep it out of the eyes.
• Sprinkle it on a windowsill, tray or plate. Do not sprinkle it on beds, bedding or anywhere a child sleeps.
• Wipe or sweep it up afterward and keep the packet closed.
• If dust gets in the eyes, rinse with water and seek medical advice if irritation continues.

Handling baby teeth

A baby tooth has been in a mouth, so treat it like anything else that has. Rinse it, pat it dry, and wash your hands before and after. Do not put the tooth, marker, dust or cork in the mouth. If a child swallows a tooth or you are worried about one, call your dentist or doctor. Dental questions are for your dentist, not for us.

What the kit does not do

The kit does not clean, treat, strengthen or preserve a tooth. It is a keepsake kit. It makes no health claims.

Storing the vial

Keep the vial corked and upright, out of reach of children under 3. Do not use it for food or drink.

Pets

Keep the kit, dust and teeth away from pets.

Allergies and ingredients

Check the marker label and the dust packet label for ingredients before use. Stop using the kit if anyone has a reaction.
